Tuesday, October 23 – Superheroes Don’t Do Drugs

 Students and staff can wear their favorite superhero tee to celebrate Red Ribbon Week!

Wednesday, October 24 – Red Ribbon Wear Red Day

 Uniform pants must be worn. Genius Hour classes will introduce and begin the door decorating contest.  The Genius Hour class with the best door will be announced October 31st!  

Thursday, October 25 – I’m Turning My Back On Drugs!!

 Wear your clothes inside out in celebration of Red Ribbon Week. Uniforms still required.

Thursday, October 25 – Red Ribbon Week Family Fun Night

 Students and their families are invited to come to a special family night of fun.  Enjoy some competitive activities together, while celebrating the importance of being drug free.

Friday, October 26 – Movie Day!

 Students who have 90% attendance, have displayed good citizenship and had at least a 2.0 the first quarter report card will enjoy movies in their houses.

Monday, October 29 – Hats Off to Being Drug Free!

 Students and staff will wear their favorite red-colored hat to celebrate Red Ribbon Week!

Tuesday, October 30 – Change the Future Wear Your Pink today!

 Wear pink today in honor of breast cancer awareness month!

 Uniform pants must be worn.

Wednesday, October 31 – Lights Out On Drugs!

 In celebration of Drug Free and Anti Bullying Week, students will throw down at our GLOW PARTY!  Student will enjoy the neon effects, get full on favorite snacks, and dance to the sounds of a fabulous DJ!



Early Release Dates 

Please be aware that students will be released at 11:30 AM on the following dates due to professional development.  The Stars and Heroes program will begin at 3:15 PM.

2018-2019 JJH Uniform Expectations 

7th Grade Career Prep: black or tan colored Khaki/Dickie pants/skirts and a red polo style solid-colored shirt. Jackets/Sweaters should be red.

8th Grade Career Prep: black or tan colored Khaki/Dickie pants/skirts and a black polo style solid-colored shirt. Jackets/Sweaters should be black. 

7th and 8th College Prep: Khaki or black Dickie pants/skirts; white oxford button down shirt; black tie or bowtie; red cardigan/pullover sweater or vest.
